True journey guidance, not tourist info

Hello there,

I am a very alternative healer form Orlando. I've recently gotten the call to come to Sedona for answers and direction in my life. I don't know the first thing about it there but the calling is powerful. I plan to head out as soon as I feel I've got a basic idea of where to start. I have studied, healed and taught for over 30 years. I don't feel the need for a tourist kind of thing but would like to be guided to a couple of power spots for meditation if possible. Meeting some people who are true of heart and motives, free of ego and comfortable with the wisdom of the way would be awesome. My main question is, if you were going for your own personal journey, where would you go, who would you seek out and where would you stay? I will only have a week or so and would like to make the most of the meditation time. Ancient cultures and practices if taught in true form would be of interest as well. I am not a newbie and so I don't want to waste my time or finances on people who are geared to the masses. (Please don't misunderstand. That is not from ego, merely understanding we have no time to waste in the coming years). I hope with all of my heart this doesn't come of as conceded. I just know with the coming changes we all must be intensely focused on what we have to learn and share. That is my only motive for asking these questions and being so blunt with my guidelines. Thank you very much for any assistance or guidance you might have to share. Blessing to all and a joyous New Year!

This is less guidance than reassurance about the power of Sedona.

I'm in Atlanta. A year before I visited Sedona in 2001, a friend looked at me, put his hand on my shoulder and said "You need to go to Sedona. Someone named Maya has a gift for you." I'm sure that I was secretly rolling my eyes around at that silliness. But I was so curious that I went the next year. Having spoken a couple of times to the woman that owned the bed and breakfast I stayed in, she arranged for a vortex tour with a man that had a healing center there. I never told her about my friend's prediction. Still being a bit of a skeptic, I told her I was just curious about this "vortex thing."

When I walked into the B&B she introduced me to Michael, with whom she had arranged the tour for me a couple of days later. It was just a coincidental visit by him. On his T-shirt, written up the side was "MAYA" next to Mayan symbols. He said his wife had just given it to him and it was the first time he'd worn it.

And the gift? About an hour and a half of walking around beautiful Cathedral Rock while he revealed to me one of the most important blocks to my happiness that I held. (I'll keep that for myself in this public posting. But it was too private for just anyone to know about). Around other skeptical friends, I might casually refer to this experience as my big "Woo WOO" in Sedona. But in my heart, I'm now a believer and wait for more magic. I just returned from my second visit this last October.

I wish you well. Do magic. Be magic. I'm glad I can unselfconsciously share that here.

May I ask the name of the healing center?

        Yes. And here's the link:

As my friend that first connected me to Michael and the center had told me during my recent October visit , their location has changed in Sedona so I had to Google a bit, but Spirit does move where it likes doesn't it? His original location was called "Michael's Vision" and the new center is "Angel Valley." I didn't visit the center on this last trip, but can tell you that Michael is an amazing man. There was something in his eyes that kept me from even looking down on that shirt. I nearly missed it altogether. (A good lesson in staying aware, because what you're looking for may be right in front of you.)

Is this the fellow of whom you speak? :

          "Michael Hamilton

Michael is the co-founder of Angel Valley. His spiritual journey began in 1987 when his marriage of 18 years ended. This experience launched his search for the deeper meaning of life and resulted in several years of travel across the US and Europe. This ultimately led to the founding of Angel Valley. Through his journey he came to believe that he creates his own world and reality and his beliefs determine what his experience in life will be. Michael is dedicated to living his true purpose and being his true authentic self. He endeavors to live in the NOW moment and to follow his joy and excitement at all times.
Michael is a non denominational ordained minister. He provides spiritual guidance with the goal to empower others to follow their excitement and create the reality they want in their lives."

That's Michael. Yes. I'm sure that everyone's experience with people in this realm will be greatly varied because it's so deeply personal. Mine was a wonderful one. It was as if he knew me deeply and provided what I needed accordingly.

If this is your path and desire, then having any outside input or plans could be beside the point. With an open heart and a clear mind the Spirit of the Divine will guide you strongly when you are there. Who is good for the rest of the world might not work for you and everyone in the world could advise against who your meant to se... Be... Flow... Go... and you will know...
Peace and Blessings on your journey...
